This
innovative mixing system enables advanced processing of materials.
1. A very sharp particle size distribution can be achieved.
2. Micronization in the submicron realm can be achieved by giving
high energy.
First, feed the raw material liquid from the bottom of the mixing
container by using a pump. When the circular turbine wheel (the
diameter of the wheel is nearly the same as the chamber inside diameter)
inside the chamber increases speed gradually by the upper motor,
fluid (or two or more kinds of fluids) in the chamber bottom begins
to rotate. When the rotation speed reaches a certain level, the
fluid rotates rapidly around the chamber wall, forming a spinning
thin film.
Under these conditions, the FILMIX mixer transfers a large amount
of energy to the fluid in several seconds, enabling pulverization
or particle- size control unattainable with conventional high-speed
mixers.
The FILMIX mixer is our original product. There are no comparable
products on the market.
