The FILMIX
Mixer has enabled particle micromization in the submicron realm.
By enabling the solubilization of an emulsion, it gives a glimpse
into the world of nanometer particles.
After premixing a lotion at 8,000 rpm with our Agi Homo Mixer,
we processed some of it using a high-pressure homogenizer and the
rest with our FILMIX Mixer.
Here is a comparison of results.
The results show that with its high design capabilities of particle
sizes, the FILMIX Mixer is capable of not only micromizing the
particles in process materials but also of narrowing their size distribution.
Moreover,
the processed liquid has been solubilized. As you can see in the photographs
below, there is a big difference in transparency between process liquid
before premixing and after premixing with the FILMIX Mixer.
