Since receiving the Chairman of the Japan Patent Attorney's
Association National Invention Award on June, 19th, 2002, T.K. Filmix
has received many commendations. Following is the chronology of
these awards.
July 3, 1998
Selected for the 1998 Good Design Product Award by the Osaka Design
Center.
The machine presented was the Filmix FM-80-50. The Good Design
Product award is semi-annually presented for products that have
a total balance with regard to design and improve the quality of
life.
July 27, 1998
Awarded the Nikkan Industry News "28th Industrial
Equipment Design Award." The FM-80-50 was awarded for product
quality and properties, and for overall evaluation of safety, ergonomics,
environmentally friendliness, as well as for social, economic and
market factors. Approximately 10 products are selected annually
beginning with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry
Minister's Award.
September 25, 1998
Acknowledged as the "1998 Good Design" by the Nihon Industry
Design Promotion Association. (Selected as G-Mark) The FM-80-50
was the machine selected. Of all product entries, approximately
30% per year are evaluated and selected as superior products and
equipment with innovated design.
March 26, 1999
Awarded the 1998 (29th )Mid to Small Business New Equipment
Development Award by the Japan Society for Promotion of the Machine
Industry.
Filmix was awarded for performance based on technology that contributes
to advancement in industrial machine technology by mid to small-size
businesses that develop and put into use innovative ideas. There
are 6 awards evaluated yearly beginning with the Mid to Small-size
Business Director's Award.
April 6, 1999
Awarded the 11th Mid to Small Business Excellence in
New Technology and New Product Award by the Asahi Mid to Small-size
Business Promotional Foundation.
A annual panel selects a maximum of 32 entries based on superior
new product design and technology developed by mid to small business
with the purpose of advancing national industry and promoting the
technology of mid to small corporations.
June 19, 2002
Awarded the National Invention Award, Chairman of the Japan Patent
Attorneys Association by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation.
A grant is accepted every year from the Imperial household for people
who have exhibited meritorious service in raising creativity, and
for their efforts in implementing inventions or development of ideas
for inventions or new designs. This award is presented yearly with
the purpose of recognizing contributions to the improvement of science
and technology, and to the advancement of industry. There are 10
recipients with the top award being the Emperor's Award for Invention.
With this kind of recognition, it will pay to continue watching
developments with regard to Filmix.
