    What is PRIMIXOLOGY®?
    PRIMIXOLOGY® is a mixing theory developed by Primix, a pioneer in mixing technology, based on many years of experience and an extensive database.
    The Primixology Challenge (On-Site Test) is a practical trial that uses actual customer samples, built on Primix’s mixing theory—formulated through analysis of mixing data—to help solve your mixing-related issues.
    The Primixology Challenge Room (Test Room) is a consulting space where various mixers can be tested and systems can be discussed. Technical staff from the Emulsification and Dispersion Technology Laboratory will provide detailed support for your inquiries.
    Please feel free to take advantage of the Primixology Challenge as a space to find concrete solutions to your technical challenges.

    What You Can Do in On-Site

    • Selection of Suitable Models

      We propose the most appropriate model from our extensive lineup, taking into account the purpose of mixing—such as emulsification, dispersion, kneading, or dissolution—the properties of the material to be processed, and your desired production conditions. Verification testing using various test machines is available to help solve issues in R&D or production environments.

    • Scale-Up Evaluation

      The test room is equipped with test machines ranging from several liters to 100-liter class. Based on the data obtained from laboratory equipment, we optimize mixing conditions for production-scale equipment and support smooth scale-up.

    • Formulation Verification

      When developing new products or introducing new mixers, optimizing the formulation and mixing conditions is essential. We support quality improvement and product development by evaluating and refining formulations and mixing conditions using particle size distribution analyzers, viscometers, and other evaluation tools.

    On-Site Testing Flow

    1. Application

      Applications and inquiries are accepted by phone or through the email form. We also offer company tours at our head office for customers who wish.*Please note that test fees will apply.

    2. Confirmation from Sales

      A sales representative will contact you. Based on your requirements, we will determine the equipment to be used and schedule.

      *We strictly adhere to confidentiality, and a non-disclosure agreement can be arranged if necessary.

    3. Confirmation from Sales

      We will reconfirm your objectives and requirements, and discuss the testing procedure.To determine the optimal conditions, we will ask about material characteristics, viscosity, specific gravity, and mixing conditions.
      If you would like us to evaluate samples (e.g., particle size distribution, microscopic observation, viscosity measurement), please inform us in advance about the desired measurement methods and conditions.

      Post-Test Meeting

      Based on the test results, we will discuss observations and future plans.

    4. On the day of the test

      We will conduct a final confirmation of the details, then perform the test. After the test, we will hold a meeting based on the test results to discuss observations and the next steps.

    Testable Models

    Our technical staff at the Emulsification and Dispersion Technology Laboratory will provide detailed support for customer inquiries, including model selection using benchtop machines for small volumes and scale-up confirmation for large volumes (up to 100L).
    Challenge Rooms are available at our Head Office (Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture) and Yachiyo Laboratory (Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture), where we conduct over 300 tests annually.

    What We Ask from Customers

    1. Please send test materials to us on a “prepaid” basis as a general rule.
    2. If test materials are being sent directly from the manufacturer, be sure to clearly indicate the test date.
    3. Whenever possible, please bring pre-measured test materials with you.
    4. Be sure to prepare containers for returning the test samples produced.
    5. Our company does not have waste liquid treatment facilities. Therefore, any cleaning waste liquids, etc., will be returned to you, so please prepare containers for return shipment.
    6. Please provide any detergents, organic solvents, etc., that may be needed for cleaning the machine after testing.
    7. If the test materials contain hazardous substances, please disclose the information in advance.
    8. If you have protective gear that you usually use, please bring it with you.
    9. If there are any other items you consider necessary for testing, evaluation, or assessment, please prepare them as well.
    10. Test hours are generally from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
